Marukyu Koyamaen Chigi no Shiro (千木の白) is a delicate, nuanced matcha with soft sweetness, creamy umami, and a velvety texture. Exceptionally smooth and elegant on the palate, it offers a clean, silky finish. Whether enjoyed as usucha or a refined matcha latte, it showcases its remarkable harmony in every preparation.
Usucha:
Sift 2 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 60 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Latte:
Sift 4 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 40 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Add 120 ml of your preferred milk, hot or iced, and sweeten to taste.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat, sunlight, and moisture. Refrigeration is optional but recommended after opening to help preserve freshness. For the best flavor, enjoy within 1–2 months of opening.
