Marukyu Koyamaen Isuzu (五十鈴) is a rich, full-bodied matcha with natural sweetness, deep umami, and a comforting nutty aroma. Smooth and creamy on the palate, it offers remarkable balance and a lingering finish that is both satisfying and refined. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for both usucha and matcha lattes.
Usucha:
Sift 2 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 60 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Latte:
Sift 4 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 40 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Add 120 ml of your preferred milk, hot or iced, and sweeten to taste.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat, sunlight, and moisture. Refrigeration is optional but recommended after opening to help preserve freshness. For the best flavor, enjoy within 1–2 months of opening.
