Marukyu Koyamaen Aoarashi (青嵐) is a bright, refreshing matcha with gentle sweetness, light umami, and notes of young spring greens. Smooth and approachable on the palate, it offers a clean finish that makes it an excellent choice for everyday enjoyment. Its versatile character makes it equally suited to usucha and matcha lattes.
Usucha:
Sift 2 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 60 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Latte:
Sift 4 g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 40 ml of water (80°C) and whisk in an "W" motion until smooth.
Add 120 ml of your preferred milk, hot or iced, and sweeten to taste.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat, sunlight, and moisture. Refrigeration is optional but recommended after opening to help preserve freshness. For the best flavor, enjoy within 1–2 months of opening.
